1. The Nature of This Reference

Coronado Residents Directory is privately operated. It explains and links to public rolls, indexes, and directory collections associated with Coronado, California, and San Diego County. It does not host government files and is not affiliated with Coronado, ARCC, the courts, libraries, the Historical Association, or any other records custodian.

2. Acceptable and Prohibited Uses

Use the pages only for lawful purposes. You may not use the site or information reached through it to:

  • stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person;
  • locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order;
  • commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act;
  • make a decision regulated by the FCRA, including credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions;
  • scrape, copy, or republish the content at scale; or
  • interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the pages.

3. No Consumer Reporting Agency Status

This site is not a consumer reporting agency as that term is defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Material on these pages, and results from linked search tools, are not consumer reports. They may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.

4. Third-Party Websites

County portals, state services, libraries, archives, sponsored search tools, and other external resources operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Coronado Residents Directory does not control their content, availability, prices, security, or data practices.

5. No Promise of Accuracy

The reference is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that a page is complete, accurate, current, or free from errors, or that an external portal will remain available or return a correct result. Verify important information with the custodian office.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of the site or any linked resource. This includes an action or decision made from a record found through the reference.

7. Your Responsibility to Protect the Operators

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arises from misuse of the pages or a breach of these terms.

8. Copyright and Limited Quotation

The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to their respective rights holders and are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a short excerpt with attribution is welcome. Republishing a full page or systematically copying the site is not permitted.

9. Revisions

These terms may be changed by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use after the revision is posted constitutes acceptance of the changed terms.

10. Restricting Access

Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms, abuses the site, or threatens its operation. The operators may take that action without advance notice.

11. California Law Governs

California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The public-record references describe the California Public Records Act, Government Code §7920.000 et seq.; that statute does not require this private reference to produce records and does not override a separate confidentiality law. California consumer privacy rights are addressed in the Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code §§1798.100 et seq., where applicable.

12. If One Provision Fails

If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
