Information You Enter
Names, phone numbers, and addresses typed into the search forms are sent to the third-party provider that supplies those result displays. Our own servers do not keep a copy of the searches. If you contact us, we receive the information contained in your message and use it to respond to that communication.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record ordinary technical details such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time stamps. These logs are reviewed in aggregate for site operation and page performance. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the reference, troubleshoot errors, understand general traffic, and improve explanations. We do not sell visitor lists or create an individual profile of a reader from the site’s own records.
External Portals and Links
Pages link to the San Diego County Assessor and Recorder, the Registrar of Voters, San Diego Superior Court, Coronado City Hall, libraries, archives, and other services. Once a reader leaves this site, the outside provider’s privacy policy controls the information submitted there. That includes sponsored search displays powered by a third party.
Service Providers That May Receive Data
Hosting and support providers process the technical logs needed to serve the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the routine automatic information described above. Information is disclosed when a valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not disclosed by us except as needed to operate the service.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Technical logs are kept only for the operational purposes that require them. There are no user accounts here, so this site does not hold a reader password or profile that could be exposed.
People Under 18
Coronado Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, a message through the Contact page can request its deletion.
California Privacy Choices
Depending on the person’s location and the data a business holds, California’s Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code §§1798.100 et seq., provides rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit sensitive information, and avoid discrimination. Legally public government information, including many real-property and professional-license records, is outside the CCPA definition of personal information. A broker deletion request therefore may not remove the source record held by San Diego County or Coronado.
Because this site keeps very little, a request generally means checking the contact mailbox and relevant technical logs. Public-record corrections or removal requests must go to the custodian office. California’s 2026 DROP program is a separate state service for registered data-broker requests; it does not change the source records described on these pages.
Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
